19.00 – 19.30 Coffee Break
19.30 – 20.30 “What type of materials can I use with an IWB?”
FIRST SESSION
What is an IWB, how does it work and what are the basic things I can do with it?
The first part of the evening looks at the simple things we all need to be really clear about to be able to use an IWB confidently and successfully. It will include hands-on practice and some basic “troubleshooting” advice just in case anything goes wrong.
SECOND SESSION
What type of materials can I use with an IWB?
The second session looks at the different types of digital ELT materials now available, as well as the most popular internet-based programmes and resources that are perfect for using with an IWB.
Your IWB trainer for the evening: Rob Bexon
Rob is highly involved in the development of technology in English Language Teaching. Following his years living and working in Spain and Africa, working as a teacher, teacher trainer and in publishing, he now travels extensively researching the needs of the teaching community and identifying critical factors that determine why new technological advances may or may not work in the modern ELT world.
